Your Google account

If you sign in with Google, Notepace receives your name, email address, and profile picture. Your account and sign-in session are stored with the application. Google handles the sign-in screen; Notepace does not receive your Google password.

Your course progress

Notepace saves your passed quick checks, completed modules, XP, gems, and study days to your account in Cloudflare D1. That lets you return on another device without starting over. The administrator can view summary activity and control generation availability.

Notes you add to the studio

Selecting a file or pasting notes does not by itself send those notes to the generation service. PDF text is extracted in your browser. When you choose Generate, the notes needed for that request are sent to the private generation worker to create the lesson.

Generated content may use OpenAI for lesson writing and Microsoft for narration. Those providers process the content sent to them under their own terms. Avoid uploading passwords, private records, or material you don’t have permission to share.

Generated files and storage

Generated videos are private to the Google account that created them and can be accessed from that account on another device. The private worker, running on the operator’s Mac, retains generation job files for up to seven days from creation under its configured cleanup policy. Download a finished video if you want to keep it. Account information and saved progress remain in the application database; this beta does not yet provide a self-service account deletion or data export screen.

What stays on this browser

Playback preferences, such as muted audio and captions, use local browser storage. Sign-in uses cookies to keep your session connected. The studio may also keep a local reference to your generation requests so that you can return to them. Clearing this site’s browser data can remove those local preferences and references.

An early product, with limits

These notes describe the current beta and aren’t a guarantee that every service is always available. There is no active billing, and Notepace does not collect payment details. Privacy information will need to be reviewed as the product changes.
